School band
Marching band, the sport for intelligent people
A band is one of the best extracurricular activities at the school level for a variety of reasons that have little to do with music and everything to do with its distinctive traits and ability to foster strong social bonds among students. Through the school band, students participate in a variety of competitions and programmes, including state and national band contests, national festivals, annual celebrations, and other events at school as well as the city.
The Prince Academy band won first place in state level band competitions in Jodhpur and Gujrat, followed by second place in the National Band competition held in New Delhi by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India on January 23, 2020. Outside of school, the band has performed at events such as the state level independence day celebration at SMS Jaipur, Shahadat ko salam - News18 Rajasthan, and Shekhawati maru utsav. Every year, our band also performs at Sikar Stadium.
The school band has been divided into Marching Band and Concert Band. The school Marching Band, which consists of students dressed in military-style uniforms, practices and performs drills and parades outdoor. The instruments utilized are Bass drums, Side drums, Cymbals, Bugles, Flutes, Trumpets, Tubas, and Trombones. The Concert Band, on the other hand, practices and performs symphonic and orchestral performances, most of which are held indoors. The instruments used are Drum Kit, Flutes, Synthesizers, Maracas, Tambourines, Congas, Tablas, Harmonium, and Electric Guitars. The school band is a fantastic way to teach students a variety of skills, including discipline, teamwork, and the necessity of following directions.
